The first Casino - Grand Sierra Resort - has now rolled out Battlefield LIVE for their new arena upgrade.
The Grand Sierra will also host this year's Success Summit.
Here's what one patron said:

"Entertainment [at Grand Sierra]: They have a new laser tag game called battlefield live and that alone is worth 5 stars. It's a live version of halo or such other games. It's too good to pass up if you're there." Anna O. San Jose CA (Yelp review, http://www.yelp.com/biz/grand-sierra-resort-and-casino-reno)

Have you heard about or seen QR codes? QR codes are those 2-D square barcodes that resemble a jumbled up maze (see right).

When these codes are scanned by a smart phone with a QR reader installed, they can direct the viewer to your website, capture business card data, and much more. You can add the graphic to your flyers so to give your customers a special offer.

Creating a QR code is easier than you may think. There are several free QR code generators on the web. Appspot.com has one of the easiest ones to use, go here to try it

The QR code shown right, takes you to the Battlefield Sports home page, was created with their QR code generator.

whoo-hoo!
what a night.
it was very exciting to win the State's Arts/Entertainers Exporters Awards.
A big thank you to my sister and her partner Shegeki for coming along to support me (as Peter was away in Adelaide). Peter was competiting in the National Table Tennis Championship (vets) and just happened to win a team Gold Medal. Not to mention a Bronze in the men's doubles.
Boy, it has been a big week! .

Roughly half the delegates played.

Last week we held our 4th bi-annual convention, the International LIVE Gaming Conference. It was terrific!

We have the most number of delegates in attendance ever.
The event was a huge success all round.

Here's a few of my highlights:
* our clients are fantastic! To hear the case studies and see the way our battlefield entrepreneurs have used our gear to help build their battlefield business is amazing. The best part of these conferences is being able to meet and talk with people from around the world, face-to-face. We had delegates from Belarus, Belgium, Canada, England, France, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Latvia, Poland, Scotland, USA, Wales, Netherlands and Spain.

* London put on a show, weather-wise. Yep, the hottest April in 100 years! I dunno is it was the royal wedding and just the combined energy of the British wishing it to be a beautiful day or what, but it worked!

* The latest SATR features were a huge hit. Pete went through the latest innovations of our digital technology and people loved them.

* The battlefield business community is growing. What with our new www.BattlefieldLIVE.com web portal launch and the real excitement to work together, across counties, even across countries. It is great.

* You get back what you put in. Over the last couple of years (since our last conference) we've worked like buggery to deliver improvements and even more innovations to our clients. And I was really happy with the feedback and genuine readiness to help one-another.
I'd also like to personally thank Paul and his team for organising the event. Dave, Shaun, Phil, and Stu were super organized. And the night fighting mission run by WO2 Lee Belcher, who is responsible for training UK Air Assault Squadron, was a real highlight.

If you missed out on this conference you will certainly want to enlist for the next!

We've just got back from our European tour.

Our open day in Santa Suzanna in Spain was awesome. For the first time we had clients from Spain, France and Andorra come together to meet each other and the Battlefield Sports team.

It was exciting to have Peter's seminar translated into Spanish and now we will shortly have a new video of our Live-Play briefing in Spanish!!

And after the battlefield action we enjoyed a delightful lunch at a local restaurant.

I'd like to personally thank Harry & Noli for organising the event. Likewise I'd like to thank Massimo & Alberto for being our hosts.
